Rugby star Tommy Bowe was on hand today along with his Ireland teammates Eoin Reddan and Mike McCarthy, to help announce a new partnership between the IRFU, Cadbury and BWG. Cadbury’s have unveiled a new limited edition Official Boost IRFU bar which is exclusively available at Spar, Eurospar, Mace and XL outlets across Ireland.
The IRFU Boost is part of Cadbury’s official partnership with the IRFU which was launched earlier this year by Cadbury Boost ambassador Tommy Bowe. As part of the new partnership, Boost is to become the official sponsor of Touch Rugby as the IRFU look to develop the sport nationwide.
Speaking about the new partnership, Suzanne Weldon, BWG Foods’ marketing and communications director said: “We look forward to making the limited edition Cadbury Boost bar available to Irish fans from our 900 stores all across Ireland.”
As an added bonus to customers, Cadbury is offering the chance for winners to travel to London and Cardiff to watch the Irish team in action this October. “There are plenty of Irish rugby fans looking forward to cheering on the boys in green later this year,” said Colin O’Toole, Mondeléz International’s Senior Brand Manager, “and one lucky person will win the a trip of a lifetime.”
