Kevin Ecock will be presenting an informative Burgundy Wines Masterclass on 20 February in Dublin's Westin Hotel
Feb 17 2012
NOffLA, in association with the Discover the Origin campaign, invites all members to attend a Burgundy Wines masterclass presented by expert wine consultant and writer Kevin Ecock. The two-hour class will take place in The Westin Hotel on 20 February from 2.30pm.
Ireland is a nation of foodies, with people wanting to know more about where their food and drink are being sourced, as well as the traditions behind the production process. The Discover the Origin campaign unites a delicious fusion of five Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) products: Parma Ham, Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese, Burgundy Wines, Port and Douro Wines. Each product in the Discover the Origin campaign is unique to the region in which it is produced and celebrated the world over for its flavours, history and traditions.
Tapping into this thirst for knowledge and aiming to promote food and drink that has real provenance Discover the Origin and NOffLA are planning a series of practical and informative masterclass sessions in 2012. These will raise awareness of PDO products among industry professionals with the first taking place on February 20 at The Westin Hotel, 35-39 Westmoreland Street, Dublin 2, from 2.30pm – 4.30pm.
