Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver and global foodservice provider Aramark have announced an ambitious ten-year partnership that will see the pair work together to "enhance food concepts and delivery" across Europe.

Global food and facilities provider has announced a ten-year partnership with celebrity chef and healthy eating advocate Jamie Oliver. The pair plan to work together to “enhance food concepts and delivery” in workplaces across Europe, including the UK and Ireland.

Aramark operates food services in a vast number of businesses and facilities, including healthcare, manufacturing and defence. Through its new partnership with with Jamie Oliver, the company now plans to introduce “social dining” experiences to its clients, while developing further new concepts.

Frank Gleeson, Aramark’s president for northern Europe said the company is passionate about the health and well-being of those it serves every day. “For that reason, it was a natural fit for us to partner with Jamie Oliver,” Gleeson said. “Together, we want to revolutionise productivity and health in workplaces throughout Northern Europe and set the agenda for health and nutrition which can have a real and lasting impact on people’s lives.”

Similarly, Jon Knight, CEO of the Jamie Oliver Restaurant Group, said Aramark’s mission of enriching and nourishing lives resonated with the company and reflecting its values. “We have seen how that mission is given life throughout the company every day,” Knight said, “both through its food offering but also its wellbeing programmes in client sites.

“We look forward to working with Aramark and exploring opportunities to establish branded restaurants in office and retail environments it manages,” he added.
