As Aramark’s Health & Wellness Ambassador, Quinlan will be working with the company to promote healthy lifestyle choices in workplaces across Ireland. In particular, he will focus on positive mental health and the importance of good nutrition and being physically healthy to a person’s mental wellbeing.

“I’m delighted to be continuing my work with Aramark,” Quinlan said of the news. “Our aim is to continue the great work we have been doing together to encourage people to take charge of their health.

“Our physical health affects our mental health and how we cope with the stresses and strains of everyday life,” Quinlan said. “The mind-body connection is real, yet most people still take it for granted. Having spent many years as a professional rugby player with both Munster and Ireland, I believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind and taking care of your health helps keep you in good shape both physically and mentally”.

Frank Gleeson, managing director of Aramark’s Food Services said he was thrilled that Alan has agreed to continue in his current role. “Alan’s energetic and relentless approach to his work around mental health awareness makes him the perfect ambassador and we are confident that together we can help make a genuine, positive change in people’s lives.”
