As well as the new store in Co. Louth, Topaz have further cause for celebration today as Tobin’s Topaz in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal, has been awarded the National Q Mark Award for Best Forecourt for Hygiene and Food, for the fifth year in a row.
Furthermore, Eddie and Annette Tobin were named the Q Mark for Hygiene and Food Safety overall national winners at the event, which took place in Dublin recently. The Tobins’ family-run business, based on the Port Road in Letterkenny, was established in 1980 and employs 37 people.
Topaz network director Jonathan Diver congratulated the Tobins on their achievements, adding that everyone in the company was immensely proud of them. “To win the Forecourt Award for a fifth year running is a phenomenal achievement and a testament to the extremely high standards they have set. Not only have they done that, they have maintained those standards down the years. It was fantastic to see their hard work and dedication to excellent service being recognised with the overall award, and indeed with our own Brand Ambassador Award.”
